Stage2 Marketing was founded in 1994 by experienced marketing professional Susan Schuster. Stage2 Marketing, located in Northern Virginia, is a full-service agency, offering creative marketing solutions for small and medium-sized businesses. The Stage2 mission will always be to develop profitable, unique strategies that deliver tangible results. You might then ask yourself how do we accomplish that mission? Sue Schuster, Founder
Sue Schuster is the Founder of Stage2 Marketing and has guided Stage2 from a graphic design firm into a full-service agency specializing in strategic planning, brand development, business development and sales strategy for small to mid-size companies. Sue fosters and maintains long-term client relationships, exemplified through a 12-year agency of records. She strives to understand individual company needs and develop the marketing/sales strategy while understanding the demands and constraints of marketing budgets.
Sue’s passion is to follow through with execution and to implement a measurement strategy and feels this is key to long term partnering.
Sue resides in a Ashburn, Virginia with her husband and two small children. She spends her free hours thinking about her next crazy idea and driving her friends mad.
Phil Morgan, Chief Financial Officer
Phil Morgan is the Financial Officer and Strategic Planning Director for Stage2 Marketing, with responsibility for strategic planning and financial accountability. Phil has years of experience working in media, advertising and event planning with a solid background in online media buying and negotiating. He also serves as a researcher and content writer for the company.
Prior to joining Stage2 Marketing, he worked in senior marketing positions at several companies, including U.S. Foodservice, Maines Paper & Food Service and Reinhart Foodservice, three of the largest distributors in the food industry. Two of these companies had revenues exceeding $3 billion while he held executive positions at each. He had direct accountability for the creation, execution and measurement of sales promotions for thousands of sales associates and their customers at these companies. His executive responsibilities at these companies also included creating and implementing brand marketing strategies, website development, internal employee promotions, media buying, print collateral, corporate communications, public relations and trade show participation.
Phil has vast experience managing and executing the strategic marketing plans which were instrumental in the rapid growth of the above-mentioned companies where he directed the marketing activities of each. One of Phil’s responsibilities was implementing the corporate marketing programs throughout the operating divisions at U.S. Foodservice located throughout the United States.
He is an avid jogger and exercise enthusiast. His interests include volunteering with Meals On Wheels and American Cancer Society’s Road To Recovery and the local food bank.. Being a graduate of Bucknell University, he is an active alumnus with the school, located in his hometown.
